Increase in telephone calls received on a Monday
We have noticed a significant increase in telephone calls received on Mondays; for example, on the 15th of January, we received 349 calls. We understand that Mondays can be busy for everyone, and we would like to inform you about some statistics regarding call volumes for the rest of the week.
Statistics for the week commencing the 15th of January, 2024 (similar stats for the week commencing the 22nd of January)
On Tuesdays, we experienced an 18% decrease in call stats compared to Mondays. Wednesdays saw a 49% decrease, Thursdays a 42% decrease, and Fridays a 34% decrease. These figures indicate that if your call is not urgent on a Monday, it may be advisable to consider phoning back later in the week when call volumes are generally lower.
As a practice, we strive to provide each patient with the highest care and attention. By spreading out non-urgent calls throughout the week, we can better manage demand and ensure that we can address your needs effectively and efficiently.
We kindly request your understanding and cooperation in this matter. By doing so, you will not only help us in providing better service but also contribute to a smoother experience for all our patients.
If your query or concern can wait until later in the week, we encourage you to call back on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday. However, for any urgent matters, please do not hesitate to contact us immediately, regardless of the day.
Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
